Maria is an exceptional breeder. My experience with her has been wonderful. We love Maria. We worked with us from the time of inception until we took our puppy Kobie home. We were able to go visit the puppies, with an appointment, to visit and have them get to know us. She sent photos and videos and kept me posted every time I asked for information. She has an amazing enrichment program for the puppies and every day they learn something new or are exposed to a new event. She stays with 24 hours a day from the time they are born until they go to their forever homes. She is always available to answer questions. Her puppies are advanced when they leave to your home. She has programs that make the transition from her home to yours much easier. I am so grateful to Maria and her program. She takes the time to help them learn when they are very impressionable and developing. I have Kobie a male and I just continue the same way Maria has been doing things and Kobie just had to adjust to his new environment. He slept through the night in his crate, no accidents or crying, he was pretty much potty trained after a week or so in our home. He is very loving and comfortable in his home. We named her Denali, and she is beautiful, smart, sassy and fearless. From our first contact with Maria, it was obvious how experienced she is with the breed and that she deeply cares for the well-being of her dogs and puppies. Maria was very generous with her time during the maturing of the puppies until they were ready for their new homes. She was always available to answer questions, give advice, send photos & videos and keep us informed about the progress of our puppy. She even taught our puppy her name before we got her.

Maria is extremely organized, keeping up with all the puppies’ records and building new puppy kits for each forever home. The “puppy kit” was an exceptional bonus. It included a notebook packed with a the necessary instructions, registration documents and shot records. As well as a cute basket of an initial supply of food, treats, blanket, chew toys/toys/balls, toothbrush/paste, comb, organic pumpkin, organic sweet potato, a pro/prebiotic and a seat belt. Denali LOVES the pumpkin and sweet potato that goes n her kibble.

We live 7 hours from Maria. She agreed to meet us halfway to deliver our new baby. She hired her husband, Steve, as the travel nanny to deliver her. Steve was so nice and friendly. Maria and Steve make a great team. I was worried about how Denali would do on the long travel day and she did great. We were so thankful she was crate and potty trained when we got her home. We’ve had her 3 weeks now and she has taken over and rules the roost now. Maria has reminded me several times that she is available for questions and advice for Denali’s lifetime. I truly believes she means it, and I have every intention of maintaining contact with her. I have much left to learn from her. Recently I purchased a beautiful tri-colored sheltie from Country Acres Shetland Sheepdogs. Maria of Country Acres’ focus on the health and well-being of her shelties is evident in the way she treats all her dogs. The puppy I purchased from Maria was in perfect condition and house trained (WOW) at 10 weeks. Her attention to choosing just the right parents for each litter is noticeable form the first time I visited my puppy at 8 weeks old. My guy is super smart and already trying to herd me and my family.

Thankfully, Maria sent us home with all the information, toys and plenty of supplies needed for the first week. I highly recommend Country Acres and the breeder Maria.

We had a wonderful experience with Maria and are so in love with our puppy, Reba. Maria actually gave her the name and it matched our puppy so perfectly, we had to keep it. We met Maria and the puppies about two weeks before they were ready to go home. Maria let us see the puppy setup and we got to spend time with the litters parents.

When we picked up Reba, Maria had a cute basket prepared for us with everything we’d need for the first few days at home. She provides excellent record keeping and a packet of the dog’s health records to date. It was very clear that Maria worked with the litter on crate and potty training. We were pleasantly surprised that Reba’s first night home was so easy and that she has no issues sleeping through the night from day one. It’s very clear that Maria worked on socializing the puppies before sending them home. We got a beautiful, smart, sweet and confident puppy and are so thankful to Maria.
